As an artist who loves anything to do with the railroad, I was fortunate to have my art studio's property adjacent to two tracks of the CSX railroad. I rented studio space from Masonic Lodge 644 in Tyrone, GA for well over 12 years. So, the CSX trains were always available to me. I was in railroad heaven every day. Here is a train temporarily parked long enough for me to study it, take photographs, and walk about to get the best angle for a painting. Of course, all my railroad art eventually winds up becoming digital as well as physical, so that I can upload it to Imagekind. The natural coloring was quite attractive as it was, but I enhanced it a bit for this picture. In this case the train is but a focal point for a very rustic landscape.
