Here I picture Nikola Tesla ten years before his death. He is 77 years of age, and still active both mentally and physically. His lifetime of inventions and patents have piled up, but still he presses on. I tried to capture his intensity of purpose in this portrait. I intend to keep on doing portraits of him at different stages of his life, in an attempt to honor him the only way I know how. In my opinion he deserves so much more than he has been given.
