One of my absolute favorite illustrators is Newell Convers Wyeth otherwise known as N.C. Wyeth. I have read numerous biographies on his life and studied his works for years. In 1902 he went to study under Howard Pyle in Wilmington, Delaware and that is the most important single event of his early art career. I decided to honor this great artist by doing a portrait of him. I hope you enjoy it.
