Do you remember trolley cars? They were more personal than trains or buses because they were open to the street. They also moved slower and on tracks. Here we see two trolleys passing each other all decorated with advertisements galore on their sides. I can hear the trolley bells ringing now signaling their starts, stops and to get out of the way. The conductor wears a cap adorned with insignia and a jacket with brass buttons. Their single headlamps were also unique as dusk settles on their routes.
