Here is an oil painting that was glazed rather than color mixed. The original almost glows when the afternoon sun shines on it. It comes alive! The scene shows an old boarded up train station just after a rain storm passed. The train parked on the left no longer takes passengers as in days gone by. One can almost picture travelers paying for their tickets and waiting for the passenger train to take them away to distant places. Now it is all a memory but the sturdy wooden train station still stands strong as an historical monument to the past.
